The Circus Of Mirth album is the result of the coincidental reunion of members from two of Tampa's foremost pop-rock bands from the Seventies; Amnesia and Just Boys. Reuniting in 2016 as Heirs Of Fortune, Terry Carolan, Ralph Smith, Robert Woodrich and Robert Watkins decided to create an album acknowledging, referencing and celebrating their collective background. Most especially, memorializing their common friend, supporter, sometimes benefactor and occasional quasi-manager, Gary Littleton, who passed away in 2008.

Circus Of Mirth finds Heirs Of Fortune subtly celebrating their shared remembrances, and their appreciation of their friend, with smart pop-rock songs for all ages. Thoughtful and mature lyrics wrap around pop conscious chord progressions, with soaring harmonies weaving in and out. In addition to the compositions from Smith, Carolan and Woodrich, there's "Invited", which is a previously unreleased 1974 Amnesia recording, an excerpt from "If I Could Do It All Over Again", from a 2010 release from the band Blue Cartoon, and "I Am The Cosmos" from Seventies cult icon, Chris Bell, of the venerated power-pop band Big Star. Ladies and gentlemen... step right up. It's a veritable Circus Of Mirth!
